How do you remove acrylic nails wihtout going back to the nail salon?

Soak them in pure acetone for at least 30 minutes. Then you can scrape the softened acrylic off with an orange stick, or simply use paper towels to rub it off. If it doesn't all come off the first try, simply soak them for another 5-10 minutes and try again. Yes, you can use acetone polish remover, but pure acetone is more efficient for the removal of acrylic nails. One other thing - if you had a UV topcoat applied to your nails, this must be removed prior to soaking. Since UV gels are non-porous, they do not soak off in acetone. Just take a nail file and gently file the topcoat off of the entire nail. UV gels file easily, so it should come off easily.


Whatever you do, make sure you don't force the acrylic from your nails. This WILL cause damage to your natural nails. Have patience. It will come off on it's own.

Finger nail polish remover with Acetone. Acetone is actually what weakens thems and helps them come off... its what the salons use.... Put the remover in a bowl and sit with your fingers in there for about half and hour... maybe more, depends on how good it was done and how long ago too... but it will take them off... after you soak, just start picking and pulling... that is EXACTLY what they do in the salons...
In walmart they sell acrylic nail removal solution in a little container. all you have to do is soak your nails in them, and they come right off.

i guess u just peel em.... its best to go to the salon though...next time i wouldnt recoment getting acrylic nails cuz they wruwen ur real nails
if you soak them in nail polish remover the glue will loosen and you can pull them off without it hurting
Let them fall off on their own. That's what I do.
